The Golden Spike Concert Society is back with its Christmas offering.
Their Christmas in the Country show will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Saint John Lutheran Church of Golden Spike south of Spruce Grove and Stony Plain.
The society has hosted music regularly for the past several years and kicked off this year’s programming with the WindRose Trio and Trio de Moda before Keri Lynn Wicker wows audiences with her University of Alberta-honed ability on the classical harp.
The upcoming performance will feature the Edmonton Tuba Quarter in a program that includes music from Bach as well as various staples of the season. All are welcome and their will be a sing-along offered too.
The church is about 10 minutes south of Spruce Grove via Golden Spike Road. It is located at 51301 Range Road 274. Admission to the concert is by donation and the facility is accessible for those in wheelchairs.
