Sudbury Symphony Orchestra is excited to announce the Symphony Snowfall Gala, a fundraiser event for the symphony.
The gala will be an evening of music, festivities and merriment — presented in adherence to public health guidelines.
The concert will begin at 8 p.m. on Dec. 12 at the Sudbury Indie Cinema, 162 Mackenzie St. Tickets are $150 and are on sale at bit.ly/3kJghXr.
To ensure the safety of everyone, ticket sales are limited to 40 seats per concert.
Proceeds will help in ensuring future programming, operations and education opportunities provided by the SSO. A portion of the ticket price is eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
The concert will be presented by the SSO string quartet, which features Beth Schneider Gould (concertmaster), Melissa Schaak (principal second violin), Jamie Arrowsmith (viola) and Dobrochna Zubek (principal cello). They will be presenting a program that includes holiday favourites. The concert will also feature a solo flute performance by Karly Schofield. The program is roughly one hour long and will be presented without intermission.
